Lady's Slipper

Cyde and Margaret's home (images shown in "our designs") is nicked named the "Lady's Slipper". A Lady's Slipper  is a naturally growing orchid. Rare and beautiful, it's bloom is about the size of an adult thumb (from the end of the thumb to the first joint).

I happened to visit Greer at the perfect time to enjoy this moment. At an altitude of 8,500 spring and summer blooms in Arizona's White Mountains offer brief beauty.

Fairy Duster bloom's matching paint color

We refer to the surrounding natural environment to inspire our color selections for a project. These Little Leaf Palo Verde blooms are a nice match to this Sherwin-Williams color chip. Depending on the variety of Palo Verde tree, the colors will vary. This "Funky" match is a soft pastel yellow with a hint of green.
